If you are expecting, you will want your baby to be examined following his/her arrival. Please contact our office prior to your expected delivery date to provide us with some important information and to discuss any concerns you may have.
Generally, babies are to be seen by a pediatrician at 3-4 days of age. A newborn exam often includes a review of the delivery record and well as a head-to-to examination of the newborn, as well as blood tests and proper immunizations. We will also be glad to answer any questions you may have about breastfeeding, feeding schedules, and other matters concerning caring for your baby once you return home.
